My Blog Against Disablism

Today is Blogging Against Disablism Day.As a woman with CP I think this is a good thing.People with disabilities rarely see themselves represented.On top of that we are told to stay in our own little society.There are those like me who want our lives to be as normal as possible.Instead of getting that we hear complaints about people, relationships, and work.We are told to be happy with the way things are when we were made fun of in school and then treated like we don't exist.We are just as human as everyone else but people see the disability before they see the person.We have to see people around us living while we just survive.We're good people once you stop staring and get to know us.
